We lift them up before your loving gaze

Bless our children and our grandchildren

We lift them up into your arms

Bless us with the friendships of sisters and brothers in community,

Lift us up to hope and a bright future

Bless those who care and teach children.

A FOUR SUNDAY SERIES ON FAMILY LIFE, January 21, January 28, February 4th, and February 18th.  TO SUPPORT, STRENGTHEN AND HEAL FAMILY LIFE through
sharing stories, songs, poetry, prayers, biblical teaching and literature.  Please see the handout and respond by telling Paul Versluis how and on what date you would be
 willing to participate.

Please calendar in Feb 11th, immediately after the noon potluck, for our first quarter congregational meeting. The routine agenda for this meeting is reports
from the Worship Cmte, Congregational Life Cmte (CLC), and Discernment Cmte. We'll also approve the minutes from the Nov. '06 mtg, attached here (2007 budget
as attachment that goes with the minutes will follow shortly in a separate email). Let me know if there are other items that you'd like to have on the agenda for the Feb mtg.
Moderator, Janis Mr/Py.

Rotating Potlucks will occur on  Feb.17 and March 17.  Be a host and or participant by calling or emailing Betsy Hy.  Rotating potlucks are meals that take place at
people's homes and include anywhere from 6-16 people.  Each month if you participate, you get to eat with a different group of people.  If you host, you host once.  These
potlucks are an excellent way to get to know new people-- whether you have been around a long time or are new yourself.  You can participate one or all of the months.  The
host decides on the menu and assigns food to each of the guests.  These are always total family affairs too.  Most everyone in the church participates and in the years we
have been doing the potlucks we've gone from 5 to 12- hosts per month, which are the numbers we had last year.  Betsy Hy is in the process of compiling the lists of folks
who want to participate and host nd would appreciate you emailing or calling her and letting her know if you want to join the fun.  Please respond whether you have
participated
 before or not.

There will be a shower for Chris and Emily and their baby daughter, Clare Elise Br Br on Saturday, February 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Ruth and Nelson Sz,.  Please
bring finger food snacks to share.  You can direct questions to Norene Ky or Janet Ry who are hosting.  They will be getting more information to you about gift requests.

If you have Congregational concerns, please contact the Congregational Life Committee.  Leland Rp, Patti, or Dave Py at
